        Professor Yoshihisa Inoue was invited to visit our collegeand give a lecture entitled “Supramolecular Photochirogenesis” at the conference hall of the College of Chemistry and Materials Scienceon June 26, 2019.

        Professor Yoshihisa Inoue is a Emeritus Professor of Osaka University since 2015. He was a full professor of Osaka University (1994-2015) and director of two largest research projects of Japan Science and Technology Agency (ERATO Inoue Photochirogenesis Project and ICORPEntropy Control Project).He got many awards such as JPAAwardof Japanese Photochemistry Association(1998), Molecular Chirality Awardof Molecular Chirality Research Organization(2003), CUSO Lectureship Awardof Conference Universitaire de Suisse Occidentale (2007), JPA Lectureship Awardof Japanese Photochemistry Association (2009), Humboldt Research Award of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2011), Masuhara Lectureship Awardof Asian Photochemistry Association(2014). His research interests include supramolecular chemistry, photochemistry, and chirality. He is author of more than 510 scientific papers and 114 accounts/reviews; editor/author of 45 books; 42 patents having the h index > 60.

        At the end of lecture, the faculty members and students had intensive discussion on the lecture content with Professor Yoshihisa Inoue. Professor Yoshihisa Inoue comprehensively answered the questions with his extensive scientific knowledge and research experience.
