Dr. Youhong Tang delivered a talk, 'Engineering Aggregation-Induced Emission Fluorogens to Various Applications' on July 1st, 2019 by invitation. It was hosted by prof. Yingkui Yang.

Prof. Youhong Tang explained the basic principle of aggregation-induced luminescence, focused on the examples of application of aggregation-induced luminescence in medicine, biosensor, environmental response and other fields, and shared research ideas from material structure, device design to practical application. Ithas aroused the wide interest of teachers and students and broadened the visionof scientific research.

Dr. Youhong Tang isan associate professor at Flinders University in Australia, directorof nanotechnology center and medical device research institute, memberof the Royal Society of Chemistry, winner of ARC-DECRA (Australian ResearchCouncil - excellent young scientists foundation). Dr. Tang Dr. Tang received his doctorate from Hong Kong University of science and technology in 2007 and once worked as an associate professor at South China University of Technology. In2012, he was employed by Flinders University after working at Advanced materials technology center in Sydney University. Dr.Tang undertakes 5 projects funded by the Australian Research Council, and twoprojects funded by Australian solar thermal research program and South Australian government funds. Dr. Tang is mainly engaged in the research onthe relationship among the structure, biosensor, and properties of polymer nanocomposites,  in addition to researchon aggregation-induced luminescence biomaterials, biosensors and marine composite materials. He has published more than 120 SCI papers, nine chapters and two monographs in the past five years.
